Booking Conditions - Live The South
Please take a moment to review our booking conditions before reserving your place. Reading them carefully helps avoid any misunderstandings regarding payments, cancellations and course organisation.

1. General Information
These Booking Conditions apply to all Spanish language courses offered by Live The South. By submitting a booking request and/or making a payment, the student confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these conditions.
2. Booking Process and Payment

All courses consist of 15 hours of tuition per week.

To reserve a place on a course, students must pay a 20% deposit, which is non-refundable.

The remaining 80% of the course fee must be paid no later than two (2) weeks before the course start date.

Payments are made by bank transfer only.

A booking is considered confirmed only once availability has been confirmed by Live The South and the deposit has been received.
- All prices include applicable taxes, unless expressly stated otherwise.
3. Course Availability and Group Organisation

Courses are currently offered at Beginner and Intermediate levels. Additional levels may be introduced in the future.

Students may book one or more consecutive weeks, subject to availability.

During the initial launch period (2026), no minimum group size applies.

Live The South reserves the right to organise groups according to level and pedagogical criteria.
4. Cancellations by the Student

If a student cancels more than two (2) weeks before the course start date, the 80% balance will be refunded. The 20% deposit is non-refundable.

If a student cancels less than two (2) weeks before the course start date, no refund will be issued.

If a student does not attend, arrives late, or withdraws from the course after it has started, no refund will be issued, as teaching staff and resources have already been allocated.
This policy reflects a commitment to fair organisation and employment conditions for teaching staff.
5. Changes to Booking Dates

Students may request a change of course dates up to two (2) weeks before the original start date.

Date changes are free of charge, subject to availability.

Requests made less than two weeks before the start date cannot be guaranteed.
6. Cancellation by Live The South

If, for any reason, a course cannot take place, Live The South will offer the student the choice of:

an alternative course date, or
-
a full refund of all fees paid.

Live The South reserves the right to cancel or modify courses due to force majeure (including illness, unforeseen circumstances, or events beyond reasonable control).
7. Student Responsibilities
Students are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of:

medical and travel insurance,
-
visas or entry permits to Spain,
-
accommodation and transport.
Live The South cannot be held responsible for any issues arising from the above.
8. Activities and Third-Party Providers

Any activities, excursions, or workshops suggested by Live The South are optional and not included in the course price.

These activities are provided by independent third-party providers.

Live The South is not responsible for the services, conduct, or outcomes of third-party providers, nor for any loss, damage, or incident occurring during such activities.
9. Personal Belongings
Live The South is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings on its premises or during external activities.
10. Minimum Age

The minimum age for Activate Your Spanish courses is 18 years.

In the case of teenage participants attending as part of a school trip, students must be accompanied at all times by their school teachers or other responsible adults.
11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Booking Conditions are governed by Spanish law.
In the event of any dispute, the parties agree to submit to the courts and tribunals of Spain, without prejudice to any consumer rights that may apply. Nothing in these booking conditions shall affect the statutory rights of consumers under applicable consumer protection legislation.
12. Language Versions
These Booking Conditions are available in English and Spanish.
In the event of any discrepancy or dispute, the Spanish version shall prevail for legal purposes.
